Information you give us
- Login with Google: your name, email address and profile photo from your Google account. We do not receive your Google password.
- Profile: the name, phone number, city, PIN code, type of work and profile photo you add to your account.
- Resume upload: your name, phone number, email, city and the resume file.
- Post a job: the job details and the name, email and phone number of the person submitting it.
- Post local work: the work details, rate, area, PIN code and the name and phone number of the person posting it.
- Contact form: your name, email, phone number if you add it, and your message.
- Messages: messages you send to or receive from other users about a Local Jobs post.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our server records basic technical details such as IP address, browser type, the pages opened and the time of the visit. This is used to keep the website secure, to stop misuse of forms and to fix problems.
How we use your information
- To log you in and keep your account working.
- To publish the job or local work you posted, after checking it.
- To contact you about job openings that may suit your resume.
- To reply to your messages, corrections and billing questions.
- To prevent fake posts, spam and fraud.
Who can see what
- Public: the details of a published job or local work post, with the name and profile photo of the person who posted it, but not the phone number.
- Logged-in users: the name and phone number given in that post.
- Only our team: resumes, contact details of people who post company jobs, messages and account details.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share your resume with an employer only when you agree to it. Payments are handled by a payment gateway, and we do not store your card, UPI or bank details. We may share information when the law requires it or to investigate fraud.
Cookies
We use a small login cookie to keep you signed in for up to 30 days and a short-lived cookie during Google login. The website may also use cookies from services such as Google for analytics and advertising. You can clear or block cookies in your browser, but login will not work without the login cookie.
Storage and security
Information is stored on our servers and is available only to our team. Resume files are not placed in any public folder. No website can promise perfect security, so please do not put sensitive details such as Aadhaar or bank numbers in a resume or a post.
How long we keep it
Local work posts are shown for up to 45 days. Resumes, accounts and messages are kept until you ask us to remove them or until they are no longer needed. Records of payments are kept for as long as the law requires.
Your choices
- You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it.
- You can ask us to remove your resume, your post or your account at any time.
- You can log out at any time from the account menu at the top.
To use any of these, write to us from the email address of your account.
Children
The website is meant for people who are 18 years or older. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
