SingleStore is hiring a Principal Solutions Engineer in India to join its sales organization and solve advanced technical challenges in the data-driven world. SingleStore is a global database company that builds a unified data platform supporting real-time transactions, analytics, search, and AI applications for Fortune 1,000 enterprises. In this role, you act as a trusted technical expert during the customer evaluation journey. A normal day involves partnering with Enterprise Account Executives to understand client needs, designing and deploying Proofs of Concept, leading the technical evaluation stage of sales, building custom demos, and collaborating with internal teams like Product and Engineering to share customer feedback. You bridge business acumen and technical depth to help acquire new clients and expand existing accounts.

Responsibilities

• Educate prospects and customers on company strategy, vision, and technologies
• Partner with Account Executives to close new business and expand existing accounts
• Collaborate with internal teams to share feedback regarding customer requests
• Design, develop, and deploy Proofs of Concept with prospective clients
• Lead the technical evaluation stage of the sales cycle as a subject matter expert
• Develop channels and partners for regional co-selling

Requirements

• Fluency in English and regional languages
• Experience with Gen AI, ML, and Advanced Analytics
• Experience selling enterprise database technologies and distributed systems
• Deep understanding of distributed database technologies for analytic and transactional processing
• Expertise in executing Proofs of Concept and deploying complex technologies
• Understanding of data platforms and competitive products
• Experience in cloud and containerized environments including Linux and Kubernetes
• Proficient programming skills in Python, Java, or other languages
