As a Senior Engineering Manager at Coinbase in India, you will lead the Data Platform team responsible for building the foundations for storing, moving, managing, and using data at scale. - Own processes that improve engineering quality and meet service-level commitments.
- Partner with recruiting to attract and hire strong engineers.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years in engineering management.
- Experience in data platform or infrastructure domains.
- Experience building, delivering, and operating distributed systems at scale.
- Strong engineering judgment promoting quality, maintainability, and development practices.
- Execution-focused approach to work through ambiguity and balance near-term delivery with long-term planning.
- Hands-on leadership style willing to engage in technical work and operational responsibilities.
- Experience leading technical change in a large, fast-moving organization.
- Familiarity with blockchain infrastructure such as Bitcoin or Ethereum.
