Grafana Labs is looking for a Senior Solutions Engineer to join their customer-facing product team and support worldwide company growth. Grafana Labs is the company behind Grafana Cloud, a fully managed observability platform trusted by organizations globally, built on open standards to help teams unify and act on their telemetry data. In this role, you will act as a bridge between customers, the sales team, and internal product and engineering teams. A normal day involves listening to customer requirements, explaining technical advantages, conducting product presentations and demos, and translating client needs into technical solutions using Grafana Labs technology. You will also collaborate with sales to qualify opportunities, handle technical evaluations, and contribute to enablement materials like documentation and videos while providing product feedback to internal teams.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the sales team to present the Grafana value proposition and product strategy to customers.
- Own customer technical engagements to help close complex opportunities using competitive knowledge and technical skill.
- Deliver technical and product presentations to existing and potential customers.
- Communicate customer feedback effectively to internal teams regarding products and the competitive landscape.
- Drive product discussions focused on customer needs and problems.
- Enhance documentation, write blog posts, record videos, and create other enablement materials.
Requirements
- 5+ years of technical pre-sales experience, preferably with Open Source technologies or in the Metrics/Monitoring space.
- Openness to complex assignments requiring strong judgment, collaboration, and leadership.
- First-class written and oral communication skills for remote collaboration with worldwide customers and internal teams.
- A passion for solving technical challenges and bringing creative solutions to clients.
- A technical mindset with a strong desire to grow technically.
- Preference for candidates based in Mumbai, India.
