GoGuardian is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer II to join their Tech Foundation team in India. In this role, you will help build, maintain, and scale the infrastructure powering core products and services. You will work alongside engineering teams to support operational excellence, optimize system performance, and ensure high availability across production environments. A normal day involves supporting cloud infrastructure, enhancing observability and monitoring frameworks, automating deployment pipelines, and collaborating with product development teams on infrastructure support and operational best practices.
Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and support scalable cloud infrastructure for core products.
- Enhance observability and monitoring frameworks to improve incident detection.
- Participate in on-call rotations and support incident response with post-mortems.
- Improve deployment pipelines and automation scripts for operational safety.
- Collaborate with product teams to provide daily infrastructure support.
- Apply security standards and compliance controls across cloud infrastructure.
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional experience in SRE, Infrastructure, or DevOps roles.
- Working knowledge of AWS core services, Serverless, or managed Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Familiarity with supporting or monitoring data layers like MongoDB or Redshift.
- Experience working with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
- Understanding of Linux fundamentals and Unix shell scripting.
- Ability to read and debug code in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Go.
