The Senior Product Manager, Applied AI role at Coursera involves owning enterprise customer deployments from initial discovery and product scoping through to delivery, adoption, and value realization. Following Coursera and Udemy coming together to help millions of learners and thousands of enterprise customers build skills for a world reshaped by AI, you will work directly with enterprise clients. In a normal day, you will understand customer workflows, translate business objectives into product and technical requirements, and build a sequenced deployment roadmap. You will partner closely with Forward Deployed Engineers, internal Product and Engineering teams, and cross-functional partners across Sales, Customer Success, Data, Security, Legal, Finance, and Operations. Serving as the product owner for customer engagements, you will define problems, scope, success criteria, and business value. Additionally, you will help identify repeatable product opportunities and contribute to shaping the operating model and playbooks required to scale this emerging motion.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with customer executives, business leaders, technical stakeholders, and end users.
• Lead discovery to understand customer objectives, workflows, user needs, data constraints, and desired business outcomes.
• Translate ambiguous customer problems into clear product requirements, prioritization decisions, and deployment roadmaps.
• Own delivery governance across Coursera and customer teams to maintain clarity on scope, timelines, and risks.
• Work closely with Forward Deployed Engineers and internal Engineering teams to translate workflows into technical solutions.
• Define value hypotheses for customer engagements and establish metrics to measure success, adoption, and ROI.
• Identify recurring customer workflows and technical patterns that can become reusable product capabilities.

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant experience across B2B product management, enterprise software, technical consulting, or solutions delivery.
• Demonstrated experience taking technically complex enterprise products or customer deployments from discovery through launch.
• Experience working with B2B products involving platforms, data, APIs, integrations, infrastructure, or enterprise workflows.
• Strong customer-facing experience working directly with senior business leaders and technical stakeholders.
• Strong program and delivery management skills, including managing workstreams, dependencies, risks, and communication.
• Strong technical fluency to reason about enterprise software architecture, data, integrations, cloud, security, and privacy.
• Strong understanding of AI- and LLM-enabled products, their value, limitations, and enterprise deployment considerations.

Good to have

• Hands-on prototyping experience with AI-assisted or low-code development tools such as Claude, Cursor, Lovable, or Retool.
• Financial and commercial acumen, including experience evaluating business cases, delivery economics, and ROI.
