Cyberhaven is looking for a Senior Software Engineer specializing in MacOS Endpoint to join their team and help revolutionize data protection using advanced AI technology. In this remote role based in India, you will work alongside a passionate group of security and product professionals who have built technologies at leading companies. As an early contributor to rapidly evolving technology, your daily routine involves designing and implementing system sensor components, building reliable and secure code, solving performance optimization problems to monitor massive event volumes without slowing down user applications, and collaborating closely with distributed engineering teams across different time zones.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement system sensor components that trace data movement across macOS applications and files.
• Solve complex performance optimization challenges to monitor numerous events with minimal impact on endpoint applications.
• Develop highly reliable code that preserves the end-user experience without negative performance effects.
• Build secure-by-design, hardened software capable of withstanding real-world attacks while processing untrusted data.
• Communicate securely with a backend system over the internet.
• Collaborate effectively with a distributed, cross-functional engineering team.

Requirements

• Strong track record working with Swift on macOS.
• Experience building system extensions utilizing Endpoint security frameworks and Network extensions.
• Prior work on at least one large native application deployed to tens of thousands of end-users.
• Experience in debugging, profiling, and optimizing low-level system software performance using Instruments.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing application architecture.
• Familiarity with agile development and SCRUM methodologies.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Availability to frequently communicate with distributed teams in Central European and US Eastern time zones.

Good to have

• Experience building endpoint security products like DLP or EDR applications.
