This Senior Manager Project Management role involves leading and developing end-to-end Procure-to-Pay operations across North America, covering Accounts Payable, vendor master data, employee travel and expense reimbursement, and corporate card programs. You will work closely with Finance, Procurement, Treasury, Tax, Human Resources, retained teams, and outsourced service providers to ensure efficient service delivery and strong operational controls. A normal day involves overseeing day-to-day operational performance, managing escalations, reviewing payment executions, supporting month-end close activities, and driving the PTP transformation agenda by identifying automation opportunities, improving workflows, and maintaining compliance with regional regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end Procure-to-Pay operations across North America including AP and vendor maintenance.
- Monitor KPIs and SLAs to ensure service delivery targets and accurate processing timelines are met.
- Review and approve payment runs, vendor master data changes, and high-risk transactions.
- Manage the operational performance and governance of travel, expense, and corporate card programs.
- Act as the main operational contact for the BPO provider and monitor their service delivery.
- Lead the North American PTP improvement roadmap to drive automation and process standardisation.
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies, internal controls, and regional tax requirements.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of Procure-to-Pay processes.
- Experience working within shared services and outsourced environments.
- Ability to manage operational performance and KPIs.
- Experience with process standardisation and automation initiatives.
- Capability to manage stakeholder relationships across Finance, Procurement, and Tax teams.
- Knowledge of compliance, internal controls, and audit activities.
