There is no written exam for Gram Panchayat Sachiv recruitment in Chhattisgarh. Selection is based on a weightage-marks merit list. The 2026 notices of Kondagaon and Balrampur-Ramanujganj use the same structure, explained below.
The Four Parts of the Merit
| Component | Weightage |
|---|---|
| Higher Secondary (12th) marks | 50% |
| Computer skill test | 25% |
| Higher education (graduation / post-graduation) | up to 10 marks |
| Work experience as Rozgar Sahayak | up to 15 marks |
What This Means for You
- 12th marks matter most. Half of the merit depends on your Higher Secondary percentage, so a candidate with better 12th marks starts ahead.
- The computer test can change the ranking. At 25%, a strong performance here can make up for average 12th marks. Practise typing, basic MS Word/Excel and data entry.
- Graduation gives extra marks. It is not required, but graduation or post-graduation adds up to 10 marks.
- Rozgar Sahayak experience is a big plus. Up to 15 marks go to candidates who have worked as Rozgar Sahayak.
Shortlisting for the Computer Test
In Kondagaon, candidates are called for the computer skill test in a 1:10 ratio, meaning 10 candidates for every post, based on the other merit components.
Eligibility Reminder
12th pass, a one-year diploma in Data Entry Operator or Programming, age 18–35 years, and permanent residence in the district. Full details are in CG Gram Panchayat Sachiv Bharti 2026.
