Capco, a global technology and management consulting firm and a Wipro company, is hiring an Alteryx Developer to join its team in India. The firm supports over 100 clients globally in the energy, banking, and financial sectors. In this role, you will be part of a team working on transformative financial services projects. A normal day involves designing and developing Alteryx automation workflows, implementing preventive and detective controls, supporting data lineage, automating data preparation and reconciliation processes, monitoring automated systems, investigating data-quality issues, and partnering with various stakeholders like risk and operations teams to improve process efficiency and transparency across the data lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and implement scalable automation workflows using Alteryx.
• Automate data preparation, validation, reconciliation, reporting, and exception-management processes.
• Implement and define preventive and detective controls, including logic, evidence, thresholds, and escalation procedures.
• Monitor automated processes and investigate data-quality issues, exceptions, and control breaks.
• Maintain documentation for workflow designs, dependencies, assumptions, and operational procedures.
• Support data lineage creation and implement validation checks to address data-quality risks.
• Partner with stakeholders to standardise manual processes and support testing, release management, and post-implementation reviews.

Requirements

• Experience as an Alteryx Automation and Data Controls Specialist or similar role.
• Ability to build reliable, maintainable, and reusable Alteryx solutions.
• Strong control mindset to identify risks, design controls, and evidence their operation.
• Solid understanding of data to trace information from source to output and explain transformations.
• Effective stakeholder management skills to engage with multidisciplinary and multi-location teams.

Good to have

• Experience with Alteryx Server, Alteryx Designer Cloud, or equivalent platforms.
• Exposure to SQL, Python, VBA, Power BI, or other data technologies.
• Experience with metadata, data-management, or lineage tools.
• Knowledge of data-quality frameworks, risk self-assessments, and regulatory reporting.
• Relevant certifications in Alteryx, data management, risk, or technology.
