In a normal day, the Customer Trust Lead engages directly with clients to explain complex security, privacy, data governance, and resilience concepts. Duties involve managing security questionnaires, conducting customer calls, reviewing contract language alongside the Legal team, and guiding clients toward business-aligned risk mitigation strategies. The role requires collaborating cross-functionally to deliver consistent and timely responses while upholding Commvault's professional brand standards during external interactions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main contact for customer security and compliance inquiries.
• Explain Commvault security and privacy posture to various audiences.
• Assess security risk and help customers focus on business impact.
• Review security and contract language with Legal and internal teams.
• Collaborate cross-functionally for accurate and timely responses.
• Represent the Commvault brand externally with high professionalism.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience
• Thorough knowledge of security, trust, risk, or compliance topics
• Experience in customer-facing roles
• Strong understanding of information security, privacy, and risk management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience supporting enterprise customers in a SaaS or technology environment
• Expertise with security and compliance frameworks like SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST
