As a QA Lead Engineer, your daily routine involves designing and maintaining automation frameworks for web, mobile, API, and desktop applications using Playwright or Selenium with Python or Java. You will drive the adoption of AI-powered testing tools, integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines, perform various types of automated testing, and analyze test results. Furthermore, you will collaborate closely with developers and business analysts to debug failures, resolve defects, and prepare test metrics for stakeholders, all while working within an inclusive, values-driven culture.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain automation frameworks for web, mobile, API, and desktop applications.
- Define end-to-end automation strategy for enterprise-scale applications and drive the adoption of AI-powered testing tools.
- Implement scalable automation scripts using Playwright or Selenium with Python or Java.
- Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines including Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins.
- Perform functional, regression, API, and end-to-end automated testing across multiple application streams.
- Analyze test results, debug failures, and collaborate with developers and business analysts to resolve defects.
- Prepare and maintain test metrics, automation coverage reports, and dashboards for stakeholders.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in software test automation, with at least 6+ years working with AI-augmented testing tools.
- Strong programming and scripting skills in Python and/or Java.
- Hands-on expertise with Playwright, Selenium, Postman, and cloud testing platforms like LambdaTest or BrowserStack.
- Working knowledge of AI Copilot tools and experience applying them within a testing context.
- Experience with API testing tools and frameworks including REST Assured, Postman, and Swagger.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD tools and version control systems such as Git, Azure DevOps, and Jenkins.
- Experience working in Agile and Scrum environments.
Good to have
- Some work experience in ORPOS (Oracle tool), Retail Domain, or Digital Testing.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and consulting.
