As a Solution Architect or Field Application Engineer based in Bengaluru, India, you will act as the crucial technical bridge between Tenstorrent and customers across the region. A normal day in this role involves working closely with clients, partners, sales, and global engineering teams to understand AI and machine learning workloads, guiding technical solution designs, assisting with tokenomics and customer discussions, and troubleshooting hardware and software issues. You will also participate in customer evaluations, deployments, and attend marketing events or trade shows. Because this position is customer-facing and covers the Indian market, it includes frequent travel to customer sites both within India and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical bridge between Tenstorrent and customers across India
- Work with customers, partners, sales, and global engineering teams to understand AI and machine learning workloads
- Guide technical solution designs, tokenomics, and customer discussions, evaluations, and deployments
- Troubleshoot issues spanning both hardware and software systems
- Help customers achieve optimal performance on Tenstorrent AI platforms
- Travel frequently to customer sites for meetings, installations, demos, and proof-of-concept delivery
- Act as a key member for marketing events and trade shows
Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant experience
- Experience as a Solutions Architect, Field Application Engineer, Application Engineer, Sales Engineer, or similar customer-facing technical role in AI/ML
- Strong Python programming skills and deep familiarity with AI/ML frameworks like PyTorch and TensorFlow
- Experience designing scalable AI solutions and deploying applications in cloud environments
- Experience guiding physical installations of hardware servers, accelerator cards, and PCIe devices
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- English language proficiency and eligibility to access U.S. export-controlled technology
Good to have
- Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, vision models, model deployment, training, or fine-tuning
- Experience with C++, CUDA, parallel programming, or kernel development
- Language proficiency in Hindi or other Indian languages
