As a Supply Chain Analyst for Labor Planning at ShipBob, you will support and improve labor and capacity planning across a global network of fulfillment centers. ShipBob is a leading global supply chain and fulfillment technology platform that helps ecommerce merchants manage their logistics through a robust network of facilities. In this remote role based in India, your normal day will involve assessing labor requirements, building and updating staff planning models, creating tools and dashboards using Excel, SQL, and PowerBI, and running analytical simulations. You will closely collaborate with operations stakeholders, process managers, and implementation teams to reconcile data, optimize labor allocation, and ensure merchant service level agreements are met while supporting peak season planning and strategic expansion initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Assess current and projected labor capacity across fulfillment centers for cost and SLA performance
• Maintain and update staff planning models for all facilities
• Build and maintain labor planning tools and dashboards using Excel, SQL, and PowerBI
• Run analytical simulations and reconcile data across multiple systems to validate labor models
• Collaborate with operations stakeholders and implementation teams to align labor plans with merchant needs
• Support peak season planning and strategic expansion initiatives
• Develop centralized reporting solutions for accurate data publication and informed planning

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in labor or capacity planning within warehousing or fulfillment environments
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and experience with SQL
• Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders
• Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement

Good to have

• Familiarity with PowerBI
• Familiarity with Python
