The Team Lead, Triage role involves managing, mentoring, and supporting a growing team of Triage Analysts at the Pune hub. A normal day in this hands-on leadership position includes overseeing daily validation processes, ensuring adherence to SLAs, coaching team members, handling escalations, monitoring report quality, and collaborating with cross-functional partners like Customer Success and Program Operations to maintain efficient vulnerability triage services.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support Triage Analysts through regular feedback and career development.
• Assist in hiring, onboarding, and setting performance goals for the new team.
• Ensure daily validation processes meet SLAs and program requirements.
• Monitor report quality, validation accuracy, and procedural compliance.
• Manage flexible hours and shift coordination for continuous coverage.
• Collaborate with Triage, Customer Success, and Program Operations teams.
• Track key operational metrics and report progress to senior leadership.

Requirements

• 6+ years of relevant corporate experience.
• 2+ years of experience in people management, preferably in security.
• Strong understanding of common web vulnerabilities such as OWASP Top 10.
• Familiarity with basic security tools like Burp Suite.
• Demonstrated ability to manage distributed or shift-based teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work from the HackerOne office in Pune 4-5 days per week.

Good to have

• Background in web application security, bug bounty, or vulnerability triage.
• Familiarity with HackerOne's platform and the ethical hacking ecosystem.
