HackerOne is looking for a Product Manager to join its team in Pune for the Agentic Vulnerability Elimination (AVE) initiative. HackerOne operates as a global leader in Continuous Threat Exposure Management, combining agentic AI solutions with a large community of security researchers to help enterprises continuously discover, prioritize, and remediate cyber risks. In this role, you will help drive the quality, performance, and cost management of AI agents and their underlying harness. A normal day involves collaborating closely with Pune triage teams, offensive security researchers, and distributed engineering groups in the Netherlands and the U.K. You will refine evaluation frameworks, analyze agent behaviors, review product metrics, partner with customer-facing teams, and shape how AI and human expertise unite to scale vulnerability remediation for top global organizations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the definition and delivery of improvements to AI agent quality, performance, and cost management.
• Own the evolution of the evaluation framework and agent harness by establishing scalable methodologies and quality gates.
• Partner with triage, engineering, and offensive security teams to align priorities and translate workflows into AI capabilities.
• Work alongside security researchers to validate exploitability and adversarially stress-test agent decisions.
• Engage with customer-facing teams to join calls, understand user workflows, and gather feedback.
• Define product health metrics, design experimentation frameworks, and use evidence to guide prioritization.
• Independently define problem statements, success metrics, and execution plans for significant product initiatives.
• Navigate ambiguous product problems in emerging AI and security workflows, bringing structure to cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience, ideally on technical or AI/LLM products at high-growth tech or SaaS companies.
• A track record of building products with close cross-functional collaboration across engineering, design, and operations.
• Hands-on experience with LLM-based solutions, including prompting, evaluations, and quality control.
• Strong analytical skills and comfort working directly with data to define metrics, run experiments, and make decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to build alignment among technical and operational staff.
• Experience working with distributed or async product development teams across different time zones.
• Based in Pune or willing to relocate, and able to work on-site there on a hybrid basis.

Good to have

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience building agentic systems, evaluation pipelines, agent harnesses, or human-in-the-loop workflows.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity, vulnerability management, DevSecOps, or bug bounty and penetration testing.
• Prior experience working closely with an operations or triage team, or directly with security researchers.
• Comfort with SQL or light scripting to pull and analyze your own data.
