Bjakcareer is looking for Android Developers to join their team and help build the native Android experience for the BJAK AI Neobank App. BJAK is a leading insurance and financial platform founded in 2019, with a mission to help people in the region get more from their money through smarter planning, saving, spending, and investing. Operating globally with an international team of over 20 nationalities, the company focuses on creating next-generation financial applications. In a normal day, you will build and ship native Android features, simplify complex financial workflows, ensure high app quality and performance, integrate secure APIs, and collaborate closely with product, design, backend, and AI engineers to take features from initial ideas to production.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship native Android features for onboarding, accounts, cards, payments, transfers, rewards, and AI-assisted journeys.
• Transform complex financial flows into simple, fast, and reliable mobile experiences.
• Collaborate with product, design, backend, and AI engineers from idea to production.
• Manage app quality regarding performance, crash rates, loading states, edge cases, and release stability.
• Utilize production feedback, analytics, and user behavior to continuously improve launched features.
• Integrate APIs, authentication, secure data handling, and financial workflows securely.

Requirements

• Strong native Android experience using Kotlin.
• Experience in shipping Android apps used by real users.
• Solid understanding of Android architecture, Jetpack, Coroutines, Flow, and modern Android development.
• Strong product sense with genuine care for user experience beyond just screens and tickets.
• Ability to debug production issues while improving performance, reliability, and app quality.
• Comfort working with ambiguity and moving fast while maintaining high standards.
• Strong English communication skills.
