As a Technical Product Manager at bjakcareer, you will drive the development of a Neobank Superapp for Southeast Asia. bjakcareer is a leading insurance and financial platform founded in 2019, expanding its offerings to help people manage, spend, save, and invest their money smarter. In this role, you will take end-to-end ownership of a product vertical, such as payments, expense management, remittance, or wealth and trading. A typical day involves shaping technical system designs with engineering teams, balancing strict regulatory constraints and compliance, managing money-movement correctness like ledgering and reconciliation, and applying AI purposefully where it genuinely improves user outcomes. You will collaborate closely with engineering, design, compliance, operations, treasury, and finance to deliver reliable, secure, and trusted financial applications.

Responsibilities

• Own a product vertical end-to-end from strategy and metrics to the backlog and acceptance criteria.
• Shape technical system designs with engineering, focusing on money-movement correctness and failure recovery.
• Make difficult trade-offs balancing correctness, speed, cost, reliability, and user experience.
• Integrate regulated constraints like licensing, KYC, sanctions screening, and data privacy as core product inputs.
• Apply AI where it adds value, establishing evaluation methods, human-in-the-loop controls, and reliability measures.
• Ship feature-complete systems behind flags and go live as partner and regulatory gates clear.
• Coordinate seamlessly across engineering, design, compliance, operations, treasury, and finance teams.

Requirements

• Significant experience owning a complex technical product end-to-end with strong judgment under ambiguity.
• Solid technical foundation in system design, datastores, APIs, queues, and concurrency consistency.
• Domain experience in a regulated or high-consequence sector like payments, banking, remittance, or insurance.
• Hands-on experience with LLM-based products and realistic AI judgment regarding hallucinations and evals.
• Strong English communication skills for working across global teams.
