As part of the team, you will focus on solving complex business problems by building reliable and scalable solutions, migrating on-prem pipelines to the GCP stack, and creating custom-built data pipelines. A normal day in this hybrid role involves designing internal applications, writing modular code for complex ingestion frameworks, collaborating with business process owners to translate requirements into technical solutions, and maintaining high development standards using modern CI/CD processes. You will work in a hybrid setup from the Noida office one to two times a week, supporting the company's global technology life cycle, data warehousing, and business intelligence needs.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and deploy internal applications supporting technology life cycles and service delivery management.
• Build modular code for multi-usable pipelines and complex ingestion frameworks for datalake and data warehouse loading.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions by working closely with analysts and business process owners.
• Develop solutions using scripting and programming languages like Python, SQL, and PySpark.
• Leverage Google Cloud Platform technologies such as BigQuery, Cloud Scheduler, and Google Cloud Storage.
• Maintain the highest development practices including technical design, solution development, and clean code writing.
• Understand and implement CI/CD processes using tools like GitHub, Docker, and Cloud Build.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years of relevant experience, preferably as a GCP Certified Data Engineer.
• Experience in software development, data engineering, business intelligence, or related fields.
• Expertise in GCP technologies in the data warehousing space including BigQuery, GCP Workflows, and IAM.
• Exposure to Google Dataproc and Dataflow.
• Coding experience in Python, SQL, and PySpark.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical advocacy.
• Willingness to work in the afternoon shift from 3 PM to 12 AM IST.

Good to have

• GCP Certified Data Engineer certification.
• Experience working closely with business process owners and analysts.
• Experience with CI/CD processes using Pulumi and Cloud SDK.
