The SG Grade- HR Onboarding role at Paytm involves leading the onboarding function for new joiners in Noida, ensuring they receive a seamless, structured, and welcoming start. Paytm is India's payment Super App and largest payment company, offering comprehensive payment services and pioneering mobile QR payments and Sound-box solutions. A normal day in this role involves managing end-to-end onboarding processes, maintaining accurate digital and physical employee records, updating the HRIS and internal databases, and tracking new-joiner status. The professional will liaise with internal teams like IT, Payroll, Finance, and Hiring Managers, coordinate induction checklists, follow up on pending items, and act as the primary point of contact for new hire queries during their early days at the company.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end onboarding processes for new joiners
• Maintain accurate physical and digital employee records and HRIS databases
• Liaise with internal stakeholders including IT, Payroll, Finance, and Hiring Managers
• Track onboarding progress, induction checklists, and provide regular status reports
• Act as the first point of contact for new hire queries and support
• Contribute to continuous improvement of onboarding processes and orientation materials

Requirements

• MBA in Human Resources is mandatory
• 1-3 years relevant experience in HR operations, onboarding, or generalist HR roles
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for presentations and stakeholder interaction
• Proven organizational and team-management capabilities for timely execution
• Good understanding of HR processes, employee lifecycle, and compliance
• Hands-on proficiency with HRIS, onboarding software, and MS Office
• High attention to detail, data-accuracy, and discretion with confidential information
• Comfortable working in a 6-day working structure

• Familiarity with local labour laws
• Exposure to leading or coordinating onboarding
