In this role, you will join the P2P team to support system integration testing execution and defect resolution. A normal day in this hybrid position involves testing the complete Procure-to-Pay cycle, validating data flows between SAP MM and external systems, managing test cases, preparing master data, and analyzing defects to ensure seamless inventory and purchasing operations.
Responsibilities
- Test the full Procure-to-Pay cycle including PR, RFQ, PO, GR, and Invoice Verification.
- Validate data flows between SAP MM and other modules or external tools via IDoc and EDI.
- Write test scripts, execute test cases, manage defects, and support UAT.
- Set up master data, vendor records, and inventory configurations for test runs.
- Verify inventory movements like goods receipts, stock transfers, and physical inventory transactions.
- Test backend accounting validation such as invoice verification, three-way matching, and vendor payments.
- Analyze defects and root causes while supporting retesting within the P2P team.
Requirements
- Strong core MM/IM knowledge including Purchasing, PR/PO, GR, and inventory movements.
- Experience with material master, valuation, and account determination.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues independently.
- Experience with S/4HANA implementations, integration testing, and cross-functional integrations.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
