Welcome to the Design Student Intern role at CannonDesign in Mumbai, India. CannonDesign is a dynamic design practice bringing together strategy, experience, architecture, engineering, and social impact through Living-Centered Design to tackle major challenges for clients and society. In this internship, you will work closely with a Licensed Architect and project leadership as part of our multi-disciplinary team. A normal day in this role involves contributing to creative design processes, crafting physical building models, producing architectural documents and client presentation graphics, conducting product research, and participating in team meetings and construction phase documentation reviews.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design process using software platforms like Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Rhino, Sketch-up, and Grasshopper.
- Build physical building models for design evaluation.
- Produce architectural documentation and graphic materials for client presentations.
- Assist in product research and participate in reviewing construction phase documentation.
- Attend in-house project team meetings and perform other assigned duties.
Requirements
- Must be enrolled in and working toward a Bachelor or Master's degree in Architecture.
- Possess a strong creative design portfolio.
- Demonstrate strong communication, teamwork, presentation, graphics, and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency with Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Good to have
- Enrollment in a Bachelor or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
- Proficiency with Revit and Enscape.
