The Forward Deployed Solution Strategist role at Lyric involves leading the technical customer engagement practice in India, focusing on supply chain AI and machine learning predictions. In a normal day, you will manage ML workstreams for strategic accounts, build and configure models hands-on, collaborate with international colleagues for account alignment, and provide technical leadership to a team of data scientists and machine learning engineers. You will also engage with senior customer executives to translate complex data science outputs into clear business value, ensuring successful AI adoption and driving innovation across enterprise supply chains in India.
Responsibilities
- Own technical workstreams within strategic enterprise accounts focusing on AI and ML-driven supply chain predictions.
- Build and configure models, run experiments, and validate results hands-on alongside your team.
- Lead an India-based team of predictions practitioners, providing technical mentorship and coaching.
- Own in-region executive customer relationships in partnership with US or EMEA-based CSBPs.
- Translate complex machine learning concepts into clear business narratives for customer executives.
- Identify opportunities to expand predictions use cases within existing accounts and monitor customer health.
- Surface actionable technical feedback to product and engineering teams to inform roadmap priorities.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in supply chain data science, ML engineering, technical consulting, or related quantitative field.
- Deep expertise in applying machine learning and AI to supply chain prediction use cases.
- Hands-on proficiency in end-to-end ML workflows including feature engineering, training, and deployment.
- Strong working knowledge of supply chain planning domains such as demand planning and S&OP.
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing a team of data scientists or ML engineers.
- Executive presence with comfort presenting to senior customer stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills for explaining complex model behavior to technical and C-suite audiences.
