People Partner (IND)

Lyric is looking for a People Partner in India to support the company's enterprise AI platform designed for supply chains. The company helps large global enterprises navigate complex supply chain decisions using out-of-the-box and custom AI solutions. In this hands-on role, you will work closely with the India leadership team, particularly R&D, and the global People team to translate business needs into practical solutions. A normal day involves building reliable People operations, helping managers lead effectively, driving performance management execution, and creating organizational clarity. You will handle employee lifecycle processes, support performance reviews, improve role clarity, and build trusted relationships across the India team. The first six months heavily focus on execution, strengthening day-to-day operations, and ensuring a consistent employee experience while navigating ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve employee lifecycle processes from onboarding to exits.
• Partner with leaders on expectations, feedback, and team dynamics.
• Roll out performance management practices and support managers.
• Map teams, clarify roles, and align people practices as the organization evolves.
• Build relationships across the India team and handle sensitive conversations.
• Connect leadership, employees, Talent, Finance, and global teams.
• Create simple processes to improve employee experience without bureaucracy.

Requirements

• Around 6 to 8 years of relevant experience across People, HR, or broader operations.
• Experience in a growing global technology business scaling its team.
• Ability to earn credibility with engineering and product leaders.
• Evidence of building or improving processes and solving unclear problems.
• Comfort working with incomplete information and adapting as you learn.
• Strong communication, discretion, and constructive challenge capabilities.
• Willingness to handle operational details and cross-functional problems.
• Ability to work in-office in Bengaluru.

Good to have

• Experience moving from HR or Talent into a broader operating role.
