As a Lead Xstore Testing professional at Valtech, you will be part of a collaborative environment focused on continuous learning, autonomy, and professional growth. Your main objective is to lead testing deliverables and ensure top-quality product releases for Oracle Xstore applications. A normal day in this remote role involves planning and executing functional, regression, mobile, and API tests, creating test plans, collaborating closely with developers and product owners, validating releases across platforms, and mentoring junior team members. You will take full ownership of testing processes while working within an agile framework to help transform retail and digital industries for leading global organizations.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of testing deliverables and ensure high-quality product releases in an agile environment.
• Plan, design, and execute functional, regression, mobile, cross-browser, and API tests.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive test cases, test plans, and project documentation.
• Collaborate closely with developers and product owners to understand requirements and validate releases.
• Report testing progress, risks, and escalations in a timely manner.
• Contribute to process improvements and mentor junior testers on the team.

Requirements

• 6+ Years of professional experience in software testing.
• Strong understanding of software testing practices and agile methodology exposure.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Xstore (V23+ and above) and XOCS functional testing.
• Experience with mobile UI and functional testing.
• Experience with API testing using tools like Postman or equivalent.
• Cross-browser and cross-platform testing experience.
• Good client-facing, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Good to have

• Experience with Jira, Zephyr, or Xray.
• Knowledge of SQL and Java.
• Selenium automation skills and experience building or enhancing automation frameworks.
