As the Manager of Performance Attribution Solutions at Connor, Clark & Lunn Financial Group Ltd. in Gurugram, you will lead the newly established regional Performance Attribution Solutions team. The team provides crucial performance, attribution, investment analytics data, and insights to internal and external stakeholders, collaborating directly with Affiliate investment teams and portfolio managers. Your mandate includes overseeing GIPS composite management, consultant database management, regulatory reporting, and other standardized operations that complement the Investment Analytic Engagement Team. In a normal day, you will build and mentor a high-performing team, manage daily functional activities, reduce operational risk, collaborate with senior managers across global offices like Canada and the UK, and drive process improvements and automation. You will serve as the primary analytics liaison, ensuring data quality assurance and implementing middle and back office system upgrades to deliver optimal value from complex datasets.

Responsibilities

• Build and hire for the new Gurugram team in conjunction with leadership in Canada.
• Manage daily functional operations, develop reliable workflows, and reduce operational risk.
• Serve as the primary analytics liaison between investment, operations, and sales teams.
• Implement data quality assurance processes to ensure analytics data is accurate and timely.
• Drive the implementation and rollout of new middle and back office platforms and tools.
• Collaborate with international teams across Gurugram, Canada, and the UK.
• Identify, design, and execute continuous improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in performance measurement and investment analytics.
• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience with direct reports.
• Deep understanding of performance and attribution methodologies for global investment products.
• Degree in Finance, Mathematics, Business, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated capacity for analytical problem-solving and structured solutions.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Good to have

• Professional designations such as the CFA or CIPM.
