As a Home Health Aide, your main goal is to deliver compassionate one-on-one care to clients following a written care plan guided by a registered nurse. During a normal day, you will support clients with personal hygiene, meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and mobility assistance while building meaningful relationships. Whether you are an experienced caregiver or looking to start your career with available training through the New Jersey Board of Nursing, this position offers flexible day, evening, and weekend shifts designed to keep your commute short and close to home.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate one-on-one care based on a written plan of care under registered nurse direction
• Assist clients with bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, and personal hygiene
• Handle meal preparation, feeding, and medication reminders
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and bed making tasks
• Help clients with ambulation, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises
• Check vital signs and offer companionship and emotional support

Requirements

• Compassionate, patient, dependable, respectful, and passionate about helping others
• Committed to providing quality care and able to travel to assigned clients' homes
• Comfortable working independently with clients
• Current CHHA/HHA credential in good standing with the New Jersey Board of Nursing for experienced candidates
• Previous caregiving or home health experience when required for the position

Good to have

• Previous home health care or patient care experience
• Spanish-speaking abilities
