BJAK is a leading insurance and financial platform in Southeast Asia, founded in 2019, with a mission to help people plan, save, and grow their money through smart digital solutions. The company is currently expanding into a broader AI Neobank application covering spending, saving, investing, and more. As a Mobile Developer, your primary responsibility is to build and ship clean, reliable, and intuitive mobile experiences across Android and iOS. A normal day in this role involves taking products from initial problem statements to fully shipped mobile features, working with APIs, debugging production issues, and collaborating closely with design, backend, product, and AI teams to create seamless customer journeys for onboarding, payments, cards, and AI-assisted functions.

Responsibilities

• Build mobile features across Android, iOS, or cross-platform flows.
• Create clean user journeys for onboarding, accounts, payments, cards, transfers, rewards, travel, FX, and AI-assisted features.
• Take ownership of products from product problems to shipped mobile experiences.
• Collaborate with backend, design, product, and AI teams to launch reliable customer-facing features.
• Improve app quality using production feedback, analytics, crash reports, and user behaviour.
• Raise the standard for mobile UX, reliability, and speed across the product.

Requirements

• Strong mobile development experience in Android, iOS, or both.
• Experience shipping production mobile apps used by real users.
• Good product sense, UX judgement, and attention to edge cases.
• Ability to work across APIs, releases, debugging, and production issues.
• Hands-on builder who can take ownership without heavy guidance.
• Clear evidence of shipped work such as app links, GitHub, screenshots, or project explanations.
• Strong English communication skills.
