Operating globally with remote and office teams from over 20 nationalities, the company is now expanding its offerings to include spending, investing, and financial services through its AI Neobank App. As a Mobile Engineer at Bjak, your core mission is to build and ship intuitive, reliable mobile experiences for Android and iOS. A normal day involves developing new features for insurance and payments, collaborating with product, design, and backend teams, integrating APIs, handling production issues, and improving overall app performance, reliability, and user experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship mobile features for Android and/or iOS platforms.
• Create simple mobile flows for insurance, payments, claims, renewals, and financial services.
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to turn complex journeys into usable mobile products.
• Integrate APIs and manage edge cases, loading states, errors, and production issues.
• Optimize app performance, reliability, crash rates, and user experience.
• Support fast product launches, experiments, and iterations across mobile journeys.
• Help establish and maintain high standards for mobile product quality.

Requirements

• 3+ years of mobile development experience in Android, iOS, or both.
• Strong experience with Kotlin and/or Swift.
• Experience shipping production apps used by real users.
• Strong product sense and meticulous attention to mobile UX.
• Ability to work with APIs, analytics, crash logs, and production feedback.
• Fast, practical mindset and comfort with owning work with limited handholding.
• Strong English communication skills for working across global teams.
