BJAK is hiring a Mobile Engineer for their AI Finance Agent team to build the new AI Neobank App across Android and iOS platforms. Founded in 2019, the company started as a mobile-first insurance platform in Southeast Asia and is now expanding its offerings to help people spend, save, invest, exchange, and travel. In this role, you will create clean, reliable, and intuitive mobile experiences for financial services. A normal day involves building mobile features, creating user-friendly flows for insurance and payments, collaborating with product and design teams, integrating APIs, handling edge cases, and improving overall app performance, reliability, and user experience in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship mobile features for Android and iOS applications
• Create simple mobile flows for insurance, payments, claims, renewals, and financial services
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to deliver usable mobile products
• Integrate APIs and handle edge cases, loading states, errors, and production issues
• Enhance app performance, reliability, crash rates, and overall user experience
• Support fast product launches, experiments, and iterations across mobile journeys
• Help establish high standards for mobile product quality throughout the app

Requirements

• 3+ years of mobile development experience in Android, iOS, or both
• Strong experience working with Kotlin and/or Swift
• Experience shipping production apps used by real users
• Strong product sense with close attention to mobile user experience
• Ability to work with APIs, analytics, crash logs, and production feedback
• Fast, practical, and comfortable owning work with limited handholding
• Strong English communication skills for working across global teams
