Precision Medicine Group is hiring a Product Analyst for a remote position in India. This role focuses on supporting, maintaining, and improving healthcare data products using data-driven methods. The company specializes in healthcare solutions and data analysis, bridging the gap between complex medical datasets and practical business insights. As a Product Analyst, your normal day will involve collaborating closely with product owners, data engineers, software teams, and account stakeholders. You will participate in daily stand-ups, analyze large US healthcare claims datasets, write and optimize SQL queries, and validate product outputs. Additionally, you will investigate data issues, build dashboards in Power BI, perform root-cause analysis, and maintain clear product documentation to ensure high-quality data delivery for subscribed clients.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Product team on active projects and join daily development stand-up meetings.
• Analyze large volumes of US healthcare claims data to spot patterns, coverage gaps, and product enhancements.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, profiling, validation, and reconciliation.
• Investigate complex data issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and recommend practical solutions.
• Support the validation of product outputs, transformations, and machine-learning results.
• Create and maintain product documentation like data dictionaries, requirements, and test scenarios.
• Perform functional testing, data validation, regression testing, and user acceptance testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (B.E.) or Technology (B.Tech.), preferably in computer science.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in healthcare analytics, business analysis, product analysis, or data analysis.
• Strong hands-on experience using SQL, Microsoft Excel, and Power BI.
• Experience analyzing US healthcare data such as medical and pharmacy claims or patient-level data.
• Strong problem-solving skills to structure ambiguous questions and investigate data discrepancies.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.

Good to have

• Hands-on experience with Snowflake.
• Familiarity with Python, APIs, JSON, or machine-learning output validation.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, or Agile product-development methods.
• Working knowledge of US Healthcare and market access dynamics.
• Experience developing within a HIPAA compliant ecosystem.
