bjakcareer is hiring a Product Designer (UI/UX) to shape intuitive and high-quality experiences for financial products. BJAK started in 2019 as a mobile-first insurance platform in Southeast Asia and is now expanding into spending, saving, investing, exchanging, and travelling to help people get more from their money. In this role, you will solve product problems through thoughtful interface design, turning complex financial workflows into fast, trustworthy experiences. A normal day involves working closely with product managers and engineers, transforming requirements into wireframes and prototypes, maintaining design systems, and improving usability using product data and user feedback. You will collaborate with a global team distributed across offices and remote locations, building next-generation products in a fast-moving startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end product experiences from concept to production.
• Transform product requirements into user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and polished interfaces.
• Design intuitive experiences for insurance, payments, claims, investments, and other financial products.
• Build and maintain scalable design systems and reusable UI components.
• Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure accurate design implementation.
• Improve usability through rapid iteration using product data and user feedback.
• Maintain consistency across mobile and web experiences.
• Refine interactions, accessibility, and overall product quality continuously.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience designing digital products.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating product thinking and excellent visual design.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma and interactive prototyping.
• Strong understanding of design systems, component libraries, and responsive design.
• Strong understanding of information architecture and user flows.
• Excellent visual design skills including typography, spacing, layout, and interaction design.
• Ability to simplify complex workflows into intuitive experiences.
• Strong English communication skills.
