Zscaler is a leading cloud security company that accelerates digital transformation and protects organizations from cyberattacks using its Zero Trust Exchange platform. As a Senior Professional Services Consultant in Mohali, you will join the Professional Services team to act as a trusted technical authority for enterprise customers. In this role, you will help organizations navigate complex hybrid environments, cloud-first transformations, and AI-accelerated security challenges. A normal day involves managing the full technical engagement lifecycle, from discovery and solution design to deployment and optimization. You will lead technical workshops, guide customers on modern security frameworks, and collaborate with sales and engineering teams. Please note that the work shift for this position is from 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM IST to align with US-based enterprise customers.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full technical engagement lifecycle for enterprise customers from discovery to deployment and continuous optimization.
• Architect and integrate ZIA, ZPA, ZDX, and Zero Trust Exchange solutions across complex multi-cloud and hybrid enterprise environments.
• Lead Zero Trust maturity assessments, technical discovery workshops, and migration planning sessions with various stakeholders.
• Guide customers on securing modern identity frameworks, SaaS ecosystems, and AI-powered workflows.
• Partner with sales, channel partners, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact consultancy and deployment services.
• Translate evolving threat landscapes into actionable, platform-led security outcomes for enterprise clients.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in customer-facing technical roles such as Professional Services, Security or Network Consulting, Technical Account Management, Escalation Engineering, or SOC operations.
• Hands-on experience deploying and operating Zscaler solutions including ZIA, ZPA, and ZDX across large-scale enterprise environments.
• Strong command of modern identity and access frameworks like SAML, SSO/IdP integrations, MFA, conditional access, and ZTNA principles.
• Solid foundation in networking and security fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, SSL/TLS, PAC files, GRE/IPSec tunnels, proxies, and next-generation firewalls.
• Working knowledge of AI/ML security concepts such as shadow AI risk, data loss prevention in AI environments, and securing LLM and API-driven workloads.

Good to have

• Hands-on experience securing cloud-native architectures on Azure, AWS, or GCP with practical exposure to SASE, SSE, and converged security frameworks.
• Understanding of AI governance, data security posture management, and security implications of enterprise GenAI adoption.
• Industry certifications such as ZDTA, ZDTE, CISSP, CCSP, or equivalent cloud and security credentials.
