Sr. Staff Integration Engineer (Security Platform and Data Pipelines)

Zscaler, a pioneer in cloud security and digital transformation, is seeking a Sr. Staff Integration Engineer for its Security Platform and Data Pipelines team. This remote position based in India involves joining the Technical Implementation and Integration department to help connect and onboard diverse cybersecurity data sources. The team focuses on building an AI-native enterprise and protecting organizations through the SASE-based Zero Trust Exchange platform. A normal day in this role involves using Python and APIs to configure and automate data workflows, mapping and normalizing security data for threat management, troubleshooting pipeline health, auditing customer data, and collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Services teams to turn customer requirements into practical implementation plans while communicating technical insights back to engineering.

Responsibilities

• Quickly learn the Zscaler SecOps platform to configure, customize, and automate data workflows using Python and APIs.
• Partner with cybersecurity subject matter experts to onboard new data pipelines and map IT and security sources.
• Troubleshoot pipeline health and audit customer data across environments to spot quality issues and security gaps.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Services teams to turn customer needs into integration plans.
• Communicate technical findings clearly to stakeholders and share field insights with Engineering for product improvements.

Requirements

• Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience optimizing outcomes within the functional domain.
• Hands-on experience managing the complete data pipeline lifecycle including ingestion, mapping, deduplication, and normalization.
• Specialized experience with data pipelines in cybersecurity platforms like SIEM or Unified Vulnerability Management.
• Proven ability to integrate security tools and data sources such as EDR, vulnerability scanners, and cloud logs.
• Strong proficiency in data modeling, SQL, and Python for data parsing, API interaction, and troubleshooting.

Good to have

• Experience designing or optimizing security data pipelines that feed AI-driven anomaly detection models or automated threat-hunting systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
