Schrödinger is hiring a Developer Experience Engineer for its Hyderabad team to focus on infrastructure optimization and CI/CD pipeline reliability. In this role, you will help maintain shared application infrastructure, handle upgrades for CI/CD systems, and build dependable testing harnesses for a microservices architecture. A typical workday involves managing shared infrastructure components, updating deployment pipelines, working with cloud platforms, and writing code to ensure smooth software delivery. Responsibilities

• Take ownership of shared infrastructure components to ensure stability and scalability.
• Design and implement testing harnesses specifically for microservices.
• Improve development efficiency and reliability through robust testing frameworks.
• Manage Jenkins upgrades and maintain existing CI/CD pipelines.
• Optimize infrastructure and improve the reliability of continuous integration and deployment processes.

Requirements

• 2 to 4 years of total work experience.
• Proficiency with Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably GCP.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, and TypeScript.
• Familiarity with modern unit and integration testing frameworks such as JUnit, pytest, jest, selenium, and playwright.
• Solid understanding of modern authentication and authorization patterns like OAuth and OICD.

Good to have

• Experience with multiple CI providers.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
