As a Lead Reliability Engineer for Network and Security at Zenoti in Hyderabad, you will spearhead the creation and operation of robust security controls safeguarding the company's cloud estate. Your daily responsibilities involve collaborating with InfoSec, Platform, and Engineering teams to enforce these critical measures. You will oversee network architecture, secure the edge and perimeter, and automate repetitive processes using Infrastructure as Code. A normal day also requires managing detection and response systems, maintaining continuous compliance with industry standards, and acting as the architectural authority to guide roadmap planning, mentor fellow engineers, and deliver clear risk reports to leadership. Responsibilities

• Own network architecture and connectivity, designing and running the network backbone of a distributed SaaS estate.
• Secure the edge and perimeter by operating WAF, DDoS protection, firewalls, and egress control with high visibility.
• Automate network and security through secure-by-default Terraform modules, IaC scanning, and policy-as-code.
• Operate detection, response, and resilience, leading detection engineering and scheduled disaster recovery runbooks.
• Maintain continuous compliance by mapping control registries to SOC 2, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, and regional privacy laws.
• Serve as the architecture authority by running design reviews, managing risk workflows, and mentoring engineers.

Requirements

• 8+ years designing and operating infrastructure in Azure and AWS with network and security expertise.
• Deep cloud networking experience covering vWAN, ExpressRoute, VPN, BGP, DNS, load balancing, and firewalls.
• Solid security fundamentals including TLS, PKI, IAM, SIEM, threat analysis, and patch management.
• Strong automation skills in production IaC like Terraform and scripting in Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Experience with multi-tenant SaaS architecture, tenant isolation, and data residency laws.
• Knowledge of workload and data security, Kubernetes hardening, and encryption key management.
• Familiarity with SOC 2, PCI-DSS, and HIPAA audits alongside clear written communication skills.
