Senior Billing Analyst

Bottomline is seeking a Senior Billing Analyst to join their team in India on a full-time basis. Bottomline is a global leader in business payments and cash management, with a history spanning over 35 years and managing more than $16 trillion in annual payments. In this role, the analyst will focus on setting up customer contracts within systems of record, performing accounting controls related to invoicing, and processing customer transactions. A normal working day involves reconciling revenue and billing results, generating billing data, issuing client invoices and credit notes, managing an internal mailbox for manual invoice processing, maintaining client purchase order and contact details, processing split commission opportunities, updating CRM and ERP systems, and handling hardware replacement requests.
Responsibilities
- Set up and review customer orders and contracts in the system.
- Execute various types of customer invoicing including batch transactional and subscription billings.
- Reconcile invoicing results to revenue and disparate systems.
- Raise client invoices for services and expenses, as well as third-party commission invoices.
- Issue client credit notes and handle re-invoicing when necessary.
- Perform weekly invoice reconciliations to verify billing delivery.
- Manage the internal mailbox for invoices requiring manual intervention.
- Maintain client purchase orders, addresses, contact details, and hardware request spreadsheets.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or Associates degree in Accounting.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in billing.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to learn systems and processes within a public company internal control environment.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel.

- Experience with Microsoft D365 ERP.
- Experience with Salesforce CRM.
