AlphaSense India is looking for a Staff Software Engineer, Full Stack (Frontend Heavy) for their Content Experience Team. In this role, you will lead the creation of scalable and reliable software systems that power the platform. A normal day involves designing performant applications, owning technical architecture for frontend microapps and backend services, leading technical design discussions, building features with LLMs and AI frameworks, mentoring engineers, and collaborating with globally distributed cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable and performant software systems across frontend and backend.
- Own backend service and frontend microapp technical architecture and reliability.
- Lead technical design discussions and deliver maintainable solutions.
- Drive full-stack projects from backend APIs to frontend integration.
- Mentor engineers and elevate team technical standards.
- Apply cloud-native DevOps and CI/CD best practices.
- Incorporate AI tools, agents, and LLMs into platform features.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of software development experience building robust applications.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript with solid full-stack experience.
- Expertise in React, TypeScript, and GraphQL.
- Experience with at least one backend language or framework like Node.js, Java, or Python.
- Strong computer science fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems.
- Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases and cloud-native development on AWS or GCP.
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools.
