As a Business Analyst II within the newly formed Content Strategy, Planning and Analysis team, you will act as a horizontal contributor across various content lanes. A typical day involves collaborating with product, engineering, finance, legal, and revenue teams to support content integration, conduct comparative analyses, and build dashboards. You will handle ad-hoc data requests, manage content workflows, track industry trends, and prepare presentations with actionable insights for content leaders to enhance platform value and operational decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Perform due diligence and comparative analysis for content sources and partnerships to build business cases.
• Handle ad-hoc data analysis and reporting requests regarding usage, readership, and coverage.
• Investigate and address inquiries from internal teams, clients, and vendors.
• Build dashboards and reports by analyzing complex data in collaboration with Business Intelligence functions.
• Track and process content requests in ProductBoard and generate summary presentations.
• Monitor industry trends and competitive intelligence to inform content strategy.
• Identify internal process improvement opportunities through gap analysis and workflow reviews.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 or more years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, and due diligence within consulting, financial, or corporate services.
• Critical thinking and organizational skills to manage diverse data and create effective presentations.
• Strong analytical skills to identify patterns from complex data and generate accurate recommendations.
• Familiarity with data manipulation tools like SQL, Python, or R, and visualization tools like Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker.
• Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and drive tangible results independently.
• Exceptional proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Google Workspace applications.

Good to have

• Domain knowledge and familiarity with buy-side, sell-side, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, and consulting workflows.
• Subject-matter expertise with content feeds, metadata, and data delivery types.
• Proactive attitude with strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in information systems, statistics, computer science, business administration, or a related field.
• Experience with Agile or Kanban product development frameworks and process improvement methodologies like Six Sigma.
