AlphaSense India is hiring a Business Analyst II to join the Content Strategy, Planning and Analysis team based in Delhi. AlphaSense is a global market intelligence and search platform driven by AI that helps enterprises remove uncertainty from decision-making using trusted public and private content. In this role, you will work horizontally across the Content Organization and collaborate with Product, Engineering, Finance, Legal, Operations, and Revenue teams. A normal day involves conducting due diligence, managing content requests, analyzing complex data to build dashboards and reports, supporting business cases and cost-benefit scenarios, and collaborating with stakeholders to drive value for users through our AI platform.

Responsibilities

• Conduct due diligence and comparative analysis for content sources and partnerships to support business cases and proposals.
• Address ad-hoc requests for data analysis and reporting on usage, readership, and coverage across the content landscape.
• Investigate and address inquiries from internal and external stakeholders including clients and vendors.
• Run detailed data analysis to build dashboards and reporting for projects by collaborating with Content and BI teams.
• Track, process, and manage content requests in ProductBoard and generate reports and presentations.
• Track industry trends, source new content sets, and compile competitive intelligence for product and content strategy.
• Support and identify internal process improvement opportunities by performing gap analysis on current and future workflows.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 or more years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, and due diligence in consulting management, financial, or corporate services industries.
• Critical thinker with attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage diverse data to build presentations with actionable suggestions.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns from complex data and produce accurate conclusions.
• Ideally some experience with data manipulation in SQL, Python, or R, and data visualization using Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker.
• Ability to multitask, work under time pressure, contribute independently, and learn new skills.
• Exceptional experience with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Google Sheets, Google Docs, and Google Slides.

Good to have

• Domain knowledge and familiarity with user workflows across buy-side/sell-side, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, corporate, and consulting.
• Subject-matter expertise with content feeds, metadata, and assorted document and data delivery types.
• Proactive self-starter with strong presentation and effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Bachelor's Degree in information systems, statistics, computer science, business administration, or a related field.
• Experience with Product Development frameworks like Agile or Kanban, or process improvement methodologies like SAFE or Six Sigma.
