VML is hiring a Technical Architect for its team in Noida, India. As part of a global creative company powered by WPP, VML combines brand experience, customer experience, and commerce to help leading brands drive growth. The Enterprise Solutions division specifically houses strategic consultants, technical architects, and developers who deliver digital experiences across marketplaces, retail, D2C, and B2B platforms. In this role, you will be responsible for leading MarTech platform implementations, specifically focusing on Adobe Experience Platform and Adobe Journey Optimizer. A normal day in this position involves designing technology solutions, working with complex data models like XDM, creating business rules to personalize customer journeys, writing logical code or database queries, and coordinating with various business and technology stakeholders. You will independently interact with customers, present technical concepts with confidence, and advocate for best practices across digital marketing implementations while collaborating closely with a team of experts.

Responsibilities

• Interact independently with customers using strong communication, articulation, and presentation skills.
• Handle MarTech platform implementations including Adobe Experience Platform and Adobe Journey Optimizer.
• Design and query marketing databases using technologies like SQL, Oracle, or Teradata.
• Understand complex data models such as XDM and align them with marketing campaign objectives.
• Write logical programming using JavaScript, Python, PHP, HTML, and CSS.
• Create business rules and conditional logic to personalize customer journeys based on behavior.
• Identify opportunities for process and solution improvements while collaborating with stakeholders.

Requirements

• Digital marketing experience with MarTech platform implementations like Adobe and SFDC.
• Strong database expertise in SQL, Oracle, Teradata, or similar technologies.
• Experience in marketing database design including querying, aggregations, filters, joins, and indexing.
• Logical programming knowledge using JavaScript, Python, PHP, or similar technologies along with HTML/CSS.
• Ability to understand complex data models such as XDM.
• Familiarity with creating business rules and conditional logic for customer journey personalization.
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.

Good to have

• Experience with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP)
• Experience with Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO)
• Familiarity with XDM data models
