The company is currently hiring a Salesforce Commerce Cloud - Technical Architect based in Mumbai, India. In this role, you will take charge of end-to-end technical architecture, solution design, and technical delivery for large-scale ecommerce implementations and support engagements. A typical day involves defining scalable and secure ecommerce solutions, reviewing technical designs and code quality, managing third-party integrations like OMS, CRM, and payment gateways, and collaborating with cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, QA, and developers. You will also participate in client workshops, perform technical estimations, and guide engineering teams to ensure adherence to Salesforce Commerce Cloud best practices and high platform stability.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end technical architecture and solution design for SFCC B2C Commerce projects.
• Define scalable, secure, and high-performance ecommerce solutions aligned with business requirements.
• Review and govern technical designs, code quality, and implementation best practices.
• Drive third-party integrations with systems like OMS, CRM, Payment Gateways, ERP, PIM, and Loyalty platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Business, QA, DevOps, and Product Owners.
• Perform technical estimations, solution reviews, and risk assessments.
• Support production issue resolution, performance optimization, and platform stability initiatives.
• Mentor and guide developers and technical leads across projects.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware / SFCC B2C).
• Expertise in SFRA architecture, cartridges, controllers, ISML, OCAPI, SCAPI, hooks, and job frameworks.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, REST APIs, and integration patterns.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, and deployment processes.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure and serverless integrations.
• Ability to prepare architecture diagrams, technical design documents, and integration specifications.
• Good understanding of ecommerce concepts including catalog, checkout, promotions, inventory, and order management.

Good to have

• Experience with composable commerce or headless architecture.
• Exposure to Salesforce ecosystem products such as Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, or Experience Cloud.
• Knowledge of frontend frameworks.
• SFCC certifications preferred.
