As a Deployment Strategist at Sarvam AI in Bengaluru, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between AI pilots and production-ready systems for India's largest banks, insurers, digital natives, and government departments. Sarvam AI is India's leading full-stack AI company, dedicated to building sovereign AI infrastructure, foundational models for Indian languages, and voice-first AI agents that aim to serve a billion people. In this role, you will own the entire arc of a customer engagement—from initial proofs of concept to live deployments handling millions of real conversations. A normal day involves leading implementation discovery, managing programme timelines and risks, collaborating with agent engineers, addressing enterprise constraints like compliance and core systems integration, and driving genuine adoption on the ground to ensure AI systems deliver measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Own deployments end to end from proof of concept to production and KPI achievement.
• Run proofs of concept to convince customers and unlock full deployments.
• Conduct implementation discovery covering integrations, processes, and compliance constraints.
• Manage programme planning, timelines, dependencies, risks, and scope discipline.
• Act as the primary customer point of contact throughout delivery.
• Work with deployment and partner teams while holding high delivery quality bars.
• Drive genuine on-the-ground adoption of the AI systems among end users.
• Create documentation, operating charters, and playbooks for future deployments.

Requirements

• Experience in client-facing delivery where you owned outcomes, likely from consulting or systems integration.
• Sufficient technical knowledge to discuss integration approaches, latency, reliability, and scale.
• Understanding of agentic AI, LLM and agent behavior in production, prompts, and evaluations.
• Experience working inside hard environments such as large regulated enterprises, banks, insurers, or the public sector.
• Precise communication skills with crisp writing, clear escalation, and no ambiguity.

Good to have

• Prior hands-on experience delivering AI systems yourself.
