As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer at DriveWealth in Bangalore, you will test and secure post-trade platforms, clearing, custody, settlement, and back-office systems within a product engineering team. Your normal day involves designing and maintaining automated test frameworks, running checks across API and messaging layers, validating end-to-end financial workflows like trade settlements and cash management, and collaborating closely with engineering, product, and compliance groups. DriveWealth operates as a global B2B financial technology organization providing an API-based platform that empowers partners to offer seamless investing and trading experiences worldwide. You will spend your time building reliable testing pipelines, analyzing defects, and ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality software releases across the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Java, Cucumber, and RestAssured
• Build and execute automated tests across API, event messaging, and data layers
• Validate end-to-end post-trade workflows including trade settlement, positions, cash, corporate actions, and margin
• Design and automate reconciliation tests between DriveWealth systems and clearing or custodian platforms
• Validate downstream outputs such as trade confirmations, statements, and regulatory reports
• Create test plans, scenarios, and regression suites for financial systems and migrations
• Build and maintain CI/CD test pipelines using tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Operations, and Compliance teams on testing strategies

Requirements

• 8+ years of QA experience in financial services with exposure to post-trade, clearing, or back-office platforms
• Strong hands-on programming skills in Java
• Automation experience with Cucumber BDD and RestAssured
• Experience testing REST APIs and event-driven systems like Kafka
• Strong SQL skills in Postgres for data validation and reconciliation
• Working knowledge of post-trade concepts such as settlement cycles and margin
• Experience with AWS, Git, and Jenkins
• Familiarity with JIRA and test management tools like Allure TestOps

Good to have

• Playwright and TypeScript for UI automation
• Experience with a clearing system conversion or platform migration
• Exposure to FIX protocol, crypto asset workflows, or Databricks
