Responsibilities
- Oversee the health, scalability, and security of cloud infrastructure and shared engineering tools.
- Apply comprehensive knowledge of DevOps methodologies, CI/CD, and automation principles.
- Utilize cloud service providers like AWS and GCP for compute, storage, networking, and serverless architectures.
- Manage container technologies and orchestration platforms like Docker and Kubernetes for application scaling.
- Use Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible to automate infrastructure.
- Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
- Set up efficient monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack.
- Advise, coach, and assist engineering teams to help them evolve and meet customer needs.
Requirements
- At least 6+ years of total technology experience.
- 4+ years of working experience in Python, Kubernetes, and AWS or GCP.
- Hands-on experience managing build tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines, and GitHub Actions.
- Hands-on experience using Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Terragrunt.
- Experience working on Linux-based infrastructure.
- Strong skills in scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Groovy, with an understanding of Ruby and Java.
- Experience handling operations, deployment, and security of multiple SaaS or B2C products.
- Hands-on experience in log collection designs and metric collection tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or New Relic.
