As an Engagement Manager for Chanakya at Sarvam AI in Delhi, this senior client-facing role involves leading pipeline development, account strategy, and long-term engagement management. A normal day requires managing active client engagements from scoping to adoption, acting as the primary point of contact, translating operational problems into actionable briefs for engineering teams, tracking delivery, surfacing risks early, and supporting pipeline development through stakeholder outreach and PoC scoping.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day client engagements from scoping and alignment to operational handover and adoption.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients across the engagement lifecycle.
• Translate client operational problems into precise briefs for deployment and engineering teams.
• Track delivery against commitments, surface risks early, and drive resolution.
• Work with Strategic Deployment Engineers to align builds with client needs.
• Support pipeline development through account mapping, stakeholder outreach, and PoC scoping.
• Build and maintain relationships with mid-to-senior client stakeholders to grow account depth.

Requirements

• 4 to 6 years of professional experience.
• Foundational background at a top-tier consulting firm with a track record of owning complex analytical work.
• At least 2 years in strategic or complex enterprise GTM, account management, or programme delivery.
• Comfort operating in long-cycle, relationship-driven environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for senior stakeholders.
• Familiarity with GenAI or ML concepts to engage with technical teams and translate capabilities to clients.

Good to have

• Experience in or adjacent to defence, government, critical infrastructure, and complex enterprises.
