ICEYE is the world leader in sovereign intelligence from space, operating the largest synthetic aperture radar satellite constellation to provide persistent monitoring for defense, environmental, and government customers globally. As the Head of Marketing & Communications for India based in New Delhi, you will build and drive the local marketing and communications function for ICEYE. This senior yet hands-on position involves shaping local strategy, establishing brand positioning, and engaging with national defense, security, and government stakeholders across India. Working in close partnership with the local team, the global Chief Marketing Officer, and the wider marketing organization, a normal day involves designing high-impact campaigns, managing agency and freelance partners, overseeing media relations and executive communications, developing localized sales enablement materials, and handling regional budget and KPI reporting while acting as a trusted advisor on reputation and brand.

Responsibilities

• Own marketing and communications strategy and execution for ICEYE India.
• Build and lead the local marketing and communications function, starting as an individual contributor.
• Design high-impact campaigns across PR, events, digital, and thought leadership.
• Localize global messaging for the India market and oversee media relations and press office operations.
• Develop localized sales enablement materials tailored to India defense and government audiences.
• Manage the regional marketing budget, KPI reporting, and CRM discipline.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with global marketing, regional sales, and external agencies.

Requirements

• 10+ years of marketing and/or communications experience with senior leadership exposure.
• Experience working in a B2G environment with campaigns in defense, aerospace, government, or the public sector in India.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with business English fluency.
• Demonstrated experience building and leading a marketing function, including budgets and agencies.
• Track record of proactive, hands-on execution across design, copy, and project management.
• Experience in trade and channel co-marketing with credibility among senior defense and policy audiences.
• Ability to collaborate and influence across diverse global and regional stakeholders.

Good to have

• Experience in marketing or PR engagement with India defense entities.
• Existing network among India defense, aerospace, and policy media.
• Experience working alongside Public Affairs or Government Relations agencies in India.
• Knowledge of New Space, Earth observation, or synthetic aperture radar.
• Familiarity with India space-sector institutions.
