The Business Analyst II joins the newly established Content Strategy, Planning and Analysis team within the Content organization. This horizontal group collaborates closely with Product, Engineering, Finance, Legal, Operations, and Revenue departments. In this full-time role based in Delhi, you will contribute to the ideation, integration, and ongoing support of structured and unstructured content on the AlphaSense platform. A normal day involves conducting due diligence, analyzing complex data to uncover patterns, managing content requests, building dashboards and presentations, addressing stakeholder inquiries, and identifying internal process improvements to continuously drive value for enterprise users and support overall content strategy.

Responsibilities

• Conduct due diligence and comparative analysis for content sources and partnerships to build business cases and cost-benefit scenarios.
• Handle ad hoc data analysis and reporting requests regarding usage, readership, and coverage across the content landscape.
• Investigate and resolve inquiries from internal stakeholders, external vendors, and clients.
• Build dashboards and reporting for projects by collaborating with the Content Team and Business Intelligence functions.
• Track and manage content requests in ProductBoard and generate corresponding reports and presentations.
• Monitor industry trends, discover new content sets, and compile competitive intelligence for product strategy.
• Perform gap analysis on current workflows to identify and implement internal process improvements.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 or more years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, and due diligence.
• Background working in consulting management, financial, or corporate services industries.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns from complex data and draw accurate conclusions.
• Experience with data manipulation tools like SQL, Python, or R, and data visualization using Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker.
• Exceptional proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Google Sheets, Google Docs, and Google Slides.
• Ability to multitask, work effectively under time pressure, and contribute independently.
• Critical thinking and attention to detail with effective organizational and presentation-building skills.

Good to have

• Domain knowledge and familiarity with user workflows across buy-side, sell-side, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, corporate, and consulting.
• Subject-matter expertise with content feeds, metadata, and assorted document or data delivery types.
• Bachelor's Degree in information systems, statistics, computer science, business administration, or a related field.
• Experience with Product Development frameworks like Agile or Kanban, or process improvement methodologies like SAFE or Six Sigma.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills with a proactive, self-starter approach.
