The Global HR Operations Specialist - India role at Payoneer involves managing the end-to-end employee lifecycle for the company's Workforce Management business unit, which helps organizations hire, onboard, pay, and manage talent globally. Working within this team in Gurugram, India, a normal day involves handling onboarding and offboarding processes, resolving HR-related help requests from employees, monitoring Service Level Agreements, ensuring adherence to local labor laws, and collaborating cross-functionally with payroll, legal, and tech departments to maintain operational efficiency and smooth experiences for global clients and employees.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes for new hires and exiting employees following internal SLAs.
• Ensure all necessary paperwork, compliance checks, and systems access are prepared compliantly.
• Act as the primary point of contact to provide guidance and address questions from new hires.
• Coordinate with payroll departments and local vendors to ensure accurate final pay and timely deregistration.
• Resolve HR-related help requests in a timely and empathetic manner while maintaining documentation logs.
• Ensure all HR processes and documentation comply with local employment and labor laws.
• Track service level agreements and generate reports on operational efficiency and issue resolution metrics.

Requirements

• 6 years+ of experience in HR operations or employee lifecycle management
• Strong understanding of EU Region HR processes and local labor laws
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, rapidly-changing global environment
• Comfortable being in a client-facing role
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Good to have

• Familiarity with HR systems such as Zoho People, BambooHR, or similar platforms
