Responsibilities
- Automate user, service-account, and system access provisioning and deprovisioning securely.
- Design and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible for virtual machines and services.
- Automate repeatable provisioning, configuration, and deployment activities to reduce manual effort.
- Improve reliability, consistency, and utilization of on-premises infrastructure in a hybrid cloud setup.
- Automate repeatable security checks, incident-response tasks, and compliance remediation workflows.
- Own automation initiatives end-to-end from problem definition through testing and documentation.
Requirements
- 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in infrastructure automation, DevOps, SRE, or cloud engineering.
- Strong practical experience with Terraform and Ansible in production environments.
- Hands-on experience managing and automating both on-premises and cloud infrastructure.
- Strong scripting skills in Python and/or Bash with good knowledge of Linux systems.
- Experience with backup, restore validation, and virtualization platforms like Proxmox, VMware, or Hyper-V.
- Experience with secrets management and access management tools.
- Practical understanding of infrastructure security, change management, and incident response.
Good to have
- Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure and CI/CD tools.
- Experience with Docker or Kubernetes.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
- Exposure to CloudFormation, AI-assisted tools, or cloud certifications.
- Working knowledge of hybrid networking, DNS, site-to-site VPN, and firewall rules.
